Regarding the two rulemaking items above
On May 17, 2010, the Department of Labor and Industry published in the State Register Requests for Comments about possible amendments to workers' compensation medical and rehabilitation rules. At this time, the department has decided to take no further action on these rules.


 Minnesota Rules, Chapter 5221.6020 to 5221.8900

Workers' compensation treatment parameters:

  1. Medication, passive care, CRPS, functional capacity evaluation and other updates and technical corrections

  2. Long term use of opioid analgesics


  3. Spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal drug delivery systems

Minnesota Rules, Chapter 5223.0310 to 5223.0650 Workers' compensation permanent partial disability schedule
