The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Health and Safety Statistics
site provides a wealth of data from its Survey of Occupational Injuries and
Illnesses and its Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, including
industry incidence rates, injury characteristics and worker demographics.

Bureau of Labor Statistics' The Editors' Desk is a daily Web
publication highlighting BLS research. The editors say if you give their
publication a few minutes a day, "within a week you'll sound pretty clever about
economics, within a month you will be extremely well-informed about the economy
and within a year you will be broadly educated in economic statistics and labor
economics."
