Water conditioning exams

Examinations for licensure are conducted twice a year (March and September). Applications for the March exam will be accepted after January 1, but in no case later than February 15. Applications for the September exam will be accepted after July 1, but in no case later than August 15.

A $50 nonrefundable fee must be submitted with each application. The examination for the water conditioning installer license shall be given only to persons who have at least six months experience in the field of water conditioning installation and servicing. The examination for a water conditioning contractor license shall be given only to persons that have at least 12 months experience in planning and supervising the installation of water conditioning equipment.

Important information related to filling out each license exam application is provided. Do not submit the application unless you have all the information that is required. If we do not receive all the required information by the due date, your application for exams will be denied.
